Wine

Wine is like a poem...
In winning forms, aren’t they comparable?
Juicy grapes, cathartic thoughts invigorate
Wine is like a woman...
Two is a company, don’t they improve
with age?
Fermenting in years, the finest wine
well-flavoured
Affirmatively by grace, a woman well-favoured.
Most worthy, wine is the blood of Jesus
Christ...
Exaltedly, isn’t it changed with bread as His body?
Twain Eucharistic elements transubstantiated
Take the cup, give thanks, and drink from it.

Thanks for reading my poem and viewing my photos.:)

Such an intoxicating introspection that made me light headed and drew out the intangible substance called "spirit" from within allowing me to cross the space that divides me and the author of this piece of poetry! I miss you so, Precious!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Ms. Josephine Go, my precious friend! Your inspiring comment really made my day!... May you also continue to write. With much love and care. <3
